Wood is very durable when cared for properly:
- Daily Cleaning: Gently wipe the surfaces with a soft cloth after every use to remove condensation or spills. Do not submerge them in water nor put them in the dishwasher.
- Deep Cleaning: Dip a microfiber cloth into warm water mixed with a tiny drop of mild dish soap. Wipe in the direction of the wood grain.
- Drying: Use a soft clean towel dry the coasters completly right away. Stand them up on their sides so air can circulate evenly while they finish drying.
- Maintenance: Apply a thin layer of food-grade mineral oil or a dedicated wood wax every few months. Rub it in with a cloth, let it absorb overnight, and buff off the excess.
